Ingredients

PORK CHOPS
4 hotel cut Nagano pork chops about 2.5 cm (1 in.) thick, fat trimmed Salt and pepper, to taste
SAUCE
2 slices fresh ginger about ½ cm (¼ in.) thick
2 tbsp
mirin
30 ml
2 tbsp
lime juice
30 ml
¼ cup
honey
60 ml
¼ cup
soy sauce
60 ml

Method

Step 1
Bring all sauce ingredients to a boil in a small pan. Simmer for about 1 minute. Set aside.
Step 2
Brush meat with oil. Salt and pepper.
Step 3
Grill ribs in a grill pan or on the barbecue over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
Step 4
Top with sauce and serve with sugar snap peas and steamed rice.
