Cranberry Rosé Sangria

Ingredients

  1. 1 bottle (750 mL) rosé wine
  2. 2 cups (500 mL) cranberry juice
  3. 1 cup (250 mL) rum
  4. 1/4 cup (60 mL) honey
  5. 12 strawberries, quartered
  6. 4 cinnamon sticks
  7. 6 star anise
  8. 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  9. 3 tbsp (45 mL) sugar
  10. 1 cup (250 mL) frozen cranberries

Method

  1. In pitcher, mix together wine, cranberry juice, rum and honey. Add strawberries, cinnamon sticks and star anise. Steep 1 hr. in fridge.
  2. To serve, use lemon wedge to moisten rim of 6 to 8 glasses. Dip rims in sugar. Place a few frozen cranberries in each glass; pour in chilled sangria.
