- large onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp

- Freshly ground pepper
- 1 1/4 pounds
- lean ground beef
- 2 cloves
- garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 bag
- Compliments Baby Spinach
- 6 ounces
- 3/4 cup
- Compliments Beef Broth
- 1 tbsp
- Compliments Corn Starch
- 1/2 cup
- Compliments Shredded Parmesan Cheese
In 5- to 6-quart pan, bring 3 quarts of salted water to a boil over high heat.
Add macaroni and cook, stirring often, until pasta is tender to bite, about 10 minutes.
Drain well then rinse with cool water and drain again.
Meanwhile, in a deep, 12-inch nonstick frying pan, combine onion, olive oil, nutmeg, and salt and pepper to taste over medium-high heat.
Stir often until onion is lightly browned, 5-6 minutes.
Add beef and garlic. Cook,stirring often, until meat is browned, about 5 minutes.
Add spinach and increase heat to high; stir until spinach is wilted and liquid is evaporated,about 2 minutes.
Mix together broth and cornstarch until blended, then add to pan along with cooked macaroni.
Stir over heat until pan juices thicken and pasta is hot, about 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
Spoon into bowls and serve immediately.
