- Salt and freshly ground pepper

- Sensations Sweet Basil Marinara

- 1/2 cup
- dry red wine
- 3 tbsp
- minced fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup
- Compliments Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Hot, cooked and buttered Sensations egg noodles (optional)
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Season chicken to taste with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a 12-inch nonstick frying pan over high heat.
Add chicken and cook, turning once, until browned but still pink in center (cut to test), about 7 minutes.
Transfer chicken to a lightly greased baking dish and set aside.
Add onion to frying pan and cook, stirring often, until onion is lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
Add marinara, red wine, and basil. Cook, stirring often, until bubbling, about 2 minutes.
Spoon sauce over chicken in baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake until chicken is no longer pink in center (cut to test), sauce is bubbling,and cheese is browned, 10-15 minutes.
Sprinkle additional chopped basil over the top just before serving, if desired.
Serve immediately over egg noodles if desired.
