Rosemary Bacon Turkey Burgers

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Makes: 4

  1. 11/4 pounds Compliments Balance Ground Turkey
  2. 2 Compliments Large Eggs, lightly beaten
  3. 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
  4. 2 teaspoons minced Compliments Organic Fresh Rosemary
  5. Salt and freshly ground pepper
  6. 4 tablespoons Garlic and Fine Herb Boursin Cheese, softened slightly
  7. 4 slices Compliments Regular Sliced Bacon
  8. 4 Compliments Plain Bagels, toasted if desired
  9. Compliments Mayonnaise (optional)

  1. Preheat oven broiler to high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, eggs, bread crumbs, rosemary, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently with your hands or a fork just until well blended. Divide mixture into 8 equal portions.
  3. Gently pat each portion of meat into a patty about 4 inches in diameter. Divide Boursin between 4 of the patties, placing it in the middle of each.
  4. Top with remaining patties and gently press meat together to fully enclose cheese in patties. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each patty so that bacon crosses over the top and bottom.
  5. Gently transfer patties to a broiler pan. Broil burgers 4-6 inches away from heat until tops are browned and bacon is sizzling, 11-12 minutes.
  6. Carefully turn burgers over and continue broiling until other sides are browned and burgers are no longer pink in center (cut to test), about 3 more minutes.
  7. To serve, place burgers on toasted bagels and offer mayonnaise to add to taste.
