Ingredients

  • 4 Cortland apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup granola cereal
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp each ground nutmeg and salt

Method

        
  1. In a bowl, mix together apples, lemon juice, cereal, walnuts and raisins. Spread mixture evenly on serving a plate.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt with 1 tbsp (15 mL) hot water.
