Ingredients

  • 11/4 pound Compliments Balance Ground Turkey
  • 2 Compliments Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Compliments Soya Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Asian sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup Compliments Mayonnaise
  • 3 cups lightly packed finely shredded cabbage (for coleslaw)
  • 1 package (8 ct.) Safeway Old Fashioned White Dinner Rolls

Method

  1. Preheat oven broiler to high. In a large bowl, gently mix together turkey, eggs, bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, and the ginger until blended. 
  2. Form mixture into 8 equal burgers, each about 3 inches wide. 
  3. Place burgers on a broiler pan. 
  4. Broil 4-6 inches from heat until lightly browned on top, about 5 minutes. 
  5. Turn burgers over and continue broiling until browned and no longer pink in center, cut to test, 3-4 more minutes.
  6. While burgers cook, mix together mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon soy sauce until well blended. Set aside. 
  7. In another bowl, toss together cabbage and remaining soy sauce and sesame oil.
  8. When burgers are done, split rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife. 
  9. Place the bottom of rolls on a serving platter. 
  10. Top each with a burger and equal portions of cabbage mixture. 
  11. Spread the cut side of each roll top with mayonnaise mixture to taste. Place on top of burgers and serve.
