Ingredients

  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Compliments Olive Oil
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sliced Compliments Organic Bella Mushrooms
  • 2 large shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt and pepper
  • 1 pkg (340 g/4pcs) Sensations by Compliments Naan Bread
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Sensations by Compliments Spirited Mickie Sweet & Tangy Bourbon BBQ Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) shredded Sensations by Compliments Applewood Smoked Cheddar, Aged 2 Years
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Compliments Baby Arugula

Method

  1. Add olive oil to small skillet on medium heat. Add mushrooms, shallots, salt and pepper; cook 3 to 5 min. until shallots are softened.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Arrange naan breads on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Spread barbecue sauce on each naan. Top with cheese and mushroom mixture.
  3. Bake 4 to 5 min., or until cheese is melted and bubbling. Sprinkle with arugula before serving.

Tips

  • Instead of Cheddar, try mozzarella or Havarti.
  • Substitute mushrooms with shredded rotisserie chicken or cooked and crumbled bacon.
  • Add Compliments Jalapeno Peppers (Sliced) for a spicy kick.
