Blanch beans in salted boiling water for 1 min. Drain, shock in cold water, drain again; set aside.
In a large frypan, toast almonds over medium heat until golden. Immediately transfer to a small dish; set aside. Return frypan to heat and cook bacon until crisp, 5 to 6 min. Drain on paper towels; set aside.
Drain off about half the bacon fat from the pan. Add the garlic to the pan and cook on medium heat until golden, about 2 min. Transfer garlic onto the paper towels.
Put reserved green beans into the pan. Stir-fry over medium-high heat about 2 min., until green beans look lightly roasted. Remove from heat. Stir in reserved almonds, bacon and garlic, plus the lemon zest and juice, pepper and salt. Serve immediately.
