Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Compliments Cocoa Powder, sifted
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) icing sugar, sifted
  • 1 cup (250 mL) 35% whipping cream
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • pinch salt

Method

  1. Whisk cocoa powder and icing sugar in heatproof bowl; set aside.
  2. Heat cream in small saucepan over medium heat, 2 to 3 min., until steaming.
  3. Pour over cocoa mixture. Whisk until smooth. Stir in vanilla and salt. Cool to room temperature. Cover and keep refrigerated up to 1 week. Serve as a dip for fruit or over ice cream sundaes.
