Ingredients

  • 3 lb (1.5 kg) split chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) canola oil
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) pepper
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) wing sauce such as Compliments Oh Mama! Buffalo Wing Sauce

Method

  1. In large bowl, toss together wings, soy sauce, oil, vinegar and pepper until well coated (can be marinated in fridge up to 4 hr. ahead).
  2. Place wings on grill preheated to medium. Grill, turning occasionally, 20 to 30 min. until wings are charred in spots and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C). 
  3. Transfer wings to clean bowl. Toss with wing sauce. Serve immediately. 

Tip:
• Alternatively, bake wings on parchment paper-lined baking sheets in 400˚F (200˚C) oven 30 to 40 min. until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve with carrot and celery sticks and ranch dipping sauce.
