1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup 35% whipping cream
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp dark rum

Directions
1Combine butter, sugar, cream and salt in medium saucepan; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and continue to simmer, stirring frequently, 5 to 8 min. until sugar dissolves and sauce thickens and darkens slightly. Stir in rum. Serve with desserts.
Tips
1
Substitute rum with bourbon. Or use orange juice for a non-alcoholic sauce.
