
Barbecued Beef Ribs Recipe

4-6 pounds beef back ribs (2 ribs/person)
1½ cups beer
⅓ cup tomato paste
¼ cup brown sugar
1 ½ tbsp Compliments Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 ½ tbsp paprika Salt and cracked black pepper

Directions
1Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut the ribs into sections.
2To make the marinade,combine beer, tomato paste, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, paprika,salt and pepper in a large bowl.
3Add ribs and mix to coat well.
4Cover and set aside in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to marinate.
5Remove the ribs from the marinade, reserving marinade, and place on wire racks in 2 baking trays.
6Roast for 20 minutes.
7Place marinade in a small saucepan over high heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until thickened.
8After roasting for 20 minutes, brush the ribs with hot marinade and roast for another 10 minutes.
9 Repeat 3 times at 10-minute intervals or until well browned.
10Serve with roasted potato wedges and remaining marinade.
