Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 package Compliments Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Compliments Soya Sauce 30% Less Salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten (can use egg whites only)
  • 4 hamburger buns

Method

  1. Preheat a grill for high heat. In a large bowl, mix turkey with onion soup mix, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, soy sauce, and egg. 
  2. The egg helps bind the turkey meat so it will hold together when grilling.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture about 10 minutes, then form into 4 patties.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grate. 
  5. Place the patties on the grill. 
  6. Cook for 20 minutes, turning once, or until well done (165ÆF internal temperature).
  7. The inside of the burgers will look whitish in colour when cooked through.
  8. Serve on hamburger buns.
