Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 mL) red wine
  • 2 cups (500 mL) cherries, pitted and halved
  • 2 cups (500 mL) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced into half-moons
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) sugar
  • 2 cups (500 mL) Sensations by Compliments Carbonated Spring Water, chilled (optional)

Method

  1. Combine wine, cherries, strawberries, orange slices and sugar in large pitcher. Refrigerate 30 min. or overnight.
  2. Divide sangria mixture among 6 glasses; top each with sparkling water, if desired.

Tip: Use white wine instead of red for a lighter-tasting cocktail
