Grilled Pork Chops with Pineapple Salsa

Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  2. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  3. 11/2 teaspoons salt
  4. 4 (1-inch thick) bone-in rib pork chops (about 21/4 lb total)
  5. 1 jar Pineapple Salsa

Method

  1. Prepare grill for cooking over direct heat with medium-hot charcoal (moderate heat for gas).
  2. Lightly oil grill rack. 
  3. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, and grill pork chops, turning over once, until just cooked through, 6 to 9 minutes. 
  4. Transfer to a clean platter and let stand 5 minutes.
  5. Serve with pineapple salsa.
