Oyster & Bacon Angels on Horseback

  1. 2 tubs (8 oz/250 g each) fresh oysters, drained, patted dry
  2. 8 slices bacon
  3. 16 toothpicks


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line baking sheet with parchment. Cut each oyster in half cross-wise. Cut each slice of bacon in half cross-wise.
  2. Roll half-oysters inside halved bacon slices; secure with toothpicks. Arrange on baking sheet.
  3. Bake 5 min., turn over and bake another 5 min. until bacon is golden. Set on serving dish. Serve with cocktail or tartar sauce, if desired.
