Meatball Sub Sheet Pan Dinner

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup (250 mL) tomato sauce
  2. 1 green pepper, sliced
  3. 1 red pepper, sliced
  4. 1 onion, sliced
  5. 16 Sensations by Compliments frozen meatballs
  6. 4 oz (125 g) shredded light mozzarella
  7. 4 cups (1 L) cubed Italian bread
  8. 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
  9. 1/4 cup (60 mL) torn basil leaves

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190ºC). Spread tomato sauce in bottom of a 17 X 12-in. (43 x 30-cm) baking sheet. Scatter green and red peppers, onion, and meatballs on sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella and bread cubes. Drizzle with oil. 
  2. Bake 25 to 30 min. until vegetables are tender and meatballs are golden and heated through. Sprinkle with basil before serving.

Tip: Serve with additional tomato sauce.
