Sweet & Spicy Mango Dipping Sauce

Makes: 3/4 cup (175 mL)


  1. 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) frozen chopped mango
  2. 1/3 cup (75 mL) honey
  3. 3 tbsp (45 mL) lemon juice
  4. 2 tbsp (30 mL) Sriracha hot sauce
  5. 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  6. 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt


  1. Place mango, honey, 1/4 cup (60 mL) water, lemon juice, hot sauce, garlic and salt in small saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring frequently, 5 to 8 min., until mango is tender and liquid is syrupy. Cool slightly.
  2. Transfer to blender and puree until smooth. Sauce can be stored, tightly covered, in refrigerator up to 3 days. Serve warm or cooled with prepared Sensations by Compliments Sprolls.

Tip: This sauce is also great as a dip for chicken wings, satays or grilled shrimp.
