Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp Compliments Organic Garlic Seasoning Paste 2 mL
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, divided 15 mL
  • 6 slices Sensations by Compliments Ciabatta Bread
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Sensations by Compliments Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena 10 mL
  • 1/4 cup fresh Compliments Organic Fresh Basil, coarsely chopped 60 mL
  • 1/4 tsp salt 2 mL

Method

  1. In small bowl, combine garlic seasoning paste and 1/2 tsp (2 mL) olive oil. Brush one side of bread slices with garlic and oil mixture. Grill oil-side down on high heat for 1 to 2 min., or until grill marks appear. 
  2. Cut bread into large cubes. Place in salad bowl. Cut tomatoes and add to bowl. Toss salad with remaining olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil and salt.
