Fresh Fruit & Ginger Smoothies

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups (500 mL) sliced or cubed fresh fruit, such as kiwis, strawberries or melon
  2. 1 cup (250 mL) 2% yogurt
  3. 1/4 cup (60 mL) orange juice
  4. 2 tsp (10 mL) honey
  5. 1 tsp (5 mL) peeled and grated fresh ginger
  6. Sliced fruit or whole berries for garnish

Method

  1. Place fresh fruit (except garnishes), yogurt, orange juice, honey and ginger in food processor or blender; process until smooth.
  2. Pour into chilled glasses, garnish and serve.

Tip: Make smoothie sweeter by using peach or berry yogurt instead of plain.
