Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Compliments Canola Oil
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Compliments White Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Compliments Prepared Mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 tsp (20 mL) sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
  • 1 bag (454 g) Compliments Coleslaw
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) celery seeds

Method

  1. In large bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Toss with coleslaw mix. Stir in parsley and celery seeds. Let stand 10 min. before serving.

Tip:
• Substitute celery seeds with mustard seeds.
• Serve as a side with pulled pork, ribs, barbecue chicken or brisket.
