Berry Lemon Margarita

Ingredients

  1. 7 fresh mint leaves
  2. 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar or salt
  3. 1/2 lime
  4. 4 cups (1 L) ice cubes
  5. 4 oz (120 mL) tequila
  6. 2 oz (60 mL) triple sec
  7. 2 cups (500 mL ) frozen berry blend
  8. 1 cup (250 mL) lemonade
  9. 4 tbsp (60 mL) honey

Method

  1. Combine sugar or salt and mint leaves in a small food processor and blend until combined. Place on a small flat plate. Wet the rim of a margarita glass with the lime and carefully dip it into the mint sugar/salt.
  2. Place the ice in a blender and crush for 15 to 20 seconds. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses. Garnish with fresh or frozen berries.
