Safeway has been instrumental in supporting my own personal growth and development. I originally joined the company 26 years ago as a Courtesy Clerk, from there I went on to work as a Cashier and then Front End Supervisor before entering the Retail Leadership Development program. After taking part in the program, I worked as an Assistant Manager for a number of years before eventually becoming a Store Manager almost a decade ago. As a mother of 4 beautiful children, I have always found Safeway supportive of my work-life balance.

I have been working at Safeway for just over 12 years now and seen my career grow and develop at a great pace. After working for a number of years as a Pharmacist, I eventually became a Pharmacy Manager and have worked in 4 different locations across the province. I love working at Safeway because the other Pharmacy Managers are so supportive and always available if you have any questions. As a Pharmacy Manager, it is great to work in such a knowledgeable and caring environment.

I originally started as a Produce Clerk, then went to become a Floral Clerk and eventually was promoted as a Floral Manager in a very short amount of time. I really enjoy working at Safeway because the hours are Flexible and it really fits in with my life.

In 2007 I started at Storcare GM/HBC & Tobacco which is mostly a unit based facility that is 245,273 square feet in size and carries over 13,500 pick items and 21,000 reserves.
